5/18/2024

Who Won The 2024 UCI BMX Racing World Championships?

Picture
The 2024 BMX Racing World Championships ended today in Rock Hill, United States. This wasthe 27th edition of the UCI version of the championships since 1996, the second time the South Carolina city has hosted (2017), and the overall third time the event has been in the U.S., including Louisville in 2001. (Houston 2020 was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.)

Teams France and the U.S. led the all-time medal table with 112 and 104 overall medals, respectively, followed distantly by Team Netherlands' 55 ahead of the 2024 event. All three made the 2024 podium again, with Teams France and USA both winning two medals each across the men's and women's elite six podium places (Team Netherlands and Team Switzerland split the two silvers).

Three ended up a magic number, as both the men's and women's 2024 champions earned their third titles. Congratulations to the 2024 medalists! Complete results can be found online at uci.org.
