Where: Tyumen, Russia

When: February 22 - 28, 206

More: This is the fourth Championships to be held in Russia, and the first to welcome any age of athlete (pending national team qualification)

Fun Fact: Tyumen's Zhemchyuzhina Sibiri winter sports complex is known as the 'Pearl of Siberia', and has previously hosted the summer biathlon worlds.

More: Competition will be in five men's and five women's events (sprint, pursuit, individual, mass start, team relay) and a mixed relay event.

Fun Fact: Kontiolahti also hosted the Worlds in 1990 and 1999.

Where: Otepää, Estonia

When: January 27 - February 03, 2015

More: 16 events across men's, women's, mixed team, and junior-level events across seven days of official competition

Fun Fact: Otepää is named after the Estonian word for 'bear's head', which references the shape of the castle hill viewable from the area.
