More: The Nacra 17 is the multi-hull, mixed gender sailing class for the Olympics. The World Championship was inaugurated in 2013.

Where: Kingston, Ontario, Canada

When: July 02 - 08, 2015


More: Part of a somewhat complicated and diverse international sailing championships, the annual Laser Worlds has competition in men's Standard (the men's Olympic class), Laser Youth Radial class and Laser Masters. Over 2000 (!) sailors from 60 nations are expected to compete on the Lake Ontario course.

Fun Fact: Robert Scheidt of Brazil has the most total Laser Worlds medals, with 12 all-time, including gold in 2013.
