What:  World Men's Curling Championship 2016

Where: Basel, Switzerland

When: April 02 - 10, 2016

Competing:  Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Japan, Norway, Russia, Scotland, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

More:  This event is the 58th edition of the Championship, and Switzerland is hosting for the eighth time.

Fun Fact:  Sweden defends, but no team has repeated since 2003.

Where: Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada

When: March 28 - April 4, 2016

Competing: Canada, Czech Republic, Finland, Japan, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, United States

More: Canada has won ten titles, and finished second six; all times alternating with the United States.

Fun Fact: The Czech Republic replaces Germany in the elite division for this year's tournament.

Where: Boston, Massachusetts, USA

When: March 28 - April 03, 2016

More: First held in 1896, the Championships crown medalists in men's and ladies' singles, pairs and ice dancing events.

Fun Fact: Boston will host this event for the first time, although the U.S. has hosted 12 times.

Where: Cardiff, Wales

More: The elite racers will be on the course along with 25,000 runners in an open competition.

Fun Fact: This is the 22nd Championships and the fourth time to be held in the United Kingdom.
