Who Won The 2024 Thomas & Uber Cup Finals in Badminton?

Picture
The 2024 Thomas & Uber Cup finals for badminton ended this weekend after just over a week of competition in Chengdu, China. This was the 33rd edition of the men's team world championship (Thomas) and the 30th for the women (Uber). Since 1984, the two tournaments have been held together, and this was the first time that Chengdu has hosted.

Teams Indonesia and China entered 2024 as the most successful teams over the Cups' histories; the Indonesian men having won the event 14 times prior and the Chinese women 15. No other national team - other than the Chinese men's 10 - had won more than six titles.

In 2024, Team China's men closed the gap over their Indonesian rivals with a 3-1 win in the final for their 11th title. And with its 3-0 win, also over the Indonesians, in the women's final, Team China now currently holds the combined Sudirman Cup, and the Thomas & Uber Cup.

Congratulations to all the medalists! A quick recap is below, and complete results can be found online at bwfthomasubercups.bwfbadminton.com.
