Who Won the 2024 ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships?

Picture
The 2024 ISU World Short Track Championships ended today after three days of competition in Rotterdam, Netherlands. These were the 48th edition of the championships since 1978, and the sixth time the Dutch have hosted including Rotterdam in 2006.

Teams South Korea and Canada had dominated the all-time medal count entering 2024, with 269 and 221 overall medals each amongst the total 947 awarded.

This time, though, the South Koreans would only capture three overall medals (one title), while the Canadians did only one better (four and two). On the heels of breakout star Kristen Santos-Griswold, Team USA< meanwhile, led the overall 2024 standings with six overall (two titles).

Congratulations to all of the 2024 medalists! A quick recap is below, and complete results can be found online at shorttrack.sport.
