The Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Met Gala returned to its regular May schedule on Monday, featuring its celebrated red carpet of fashion looks from celebrities. A number of Olympic sport athletes made the invite list in honor of the museum's Costume Institute's upcoming exhibition, In America: An Anthology of Fashion.
