Who Won The 2022 49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17 World Championships?
The first time held in Canada, the 2022 World 49er, 49erFX, and Nacra 17 Championships concluded in Nova Scotia after six days of competition on St. Margaret's Bay. The three classes competed are all Olympic classes - men's skiff (49er), women's skiff (49erFX), and mixed multi-hull (Nacra 17).
All three winning boats featured repeat champions: both Team Itay's Ruggero Tita & Caterina Banti (Narca 17) and Team Netherlands' Bart Lambriex & Floris van der Werken (49er) won their second straight world title, while Dutchwomen Odile van Aanholt and Annette Duetz won their second and third 49erFX titles, respectively.
