Who Won The 2022 UCI Track World Championships?
The 2022 Track Cycling World Championships ended today in after five days of elite competition in Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, France. This was the second time the region's velodrome has hosted the championships, and the 17th edition to be held in France since 1893. 2022 was the 119th annual event.
11 events were held in both men's and women's events, but only six of each are also Olympic disciplines. Buoyed by star Harrie Layrevsen's double individual gold, Team Netherlands took the medal table honors with ten overall (four gold). Team Great Britain also has ten medals overall, while Teams Italy, France, and Germany all had seven each.
