Who Won The 2022 FIVB Women's World Championship?
The 2022 FIVB Women's World Championships ended in Arnhem, Netherlands today after three weeks of competition across both Netherlands (Arnhem, Rotterdam, and Apeldoorn) and Poland (Gdansk, Lodz, and Glawice). This year represented the first time hosting was spread across two countries for the now-quadrennial championships.
24 teams participated, with Team Russia excluded due to the invasion of Ukraine. Team Croatia, subsequently invited as a replacement, finished in 22nd place. The final top eight teams - making it to the single-elimination rounds of play - were Serbia, Brazil, Italy, United States, Japan, China, Poland and Turkey.
