Who Won The 2022 ISA World Surfing Games?
Previously known as the ISF/ISA World Surfing Championships, the 2022 edition of the ISA World Surfing Games concluded in Huntington Beach, California today after eight days of men's and women's shortboard action that opened on the 16th. This is the fourth time that "Surf City USA" has hosted the competition (1984, 1996, 2006).
Also on offer was a national team spot for both the men's and women's surfing competition at Paris 2024, to be held at Teahupo'o in Tahiti. Men's individual winner Kanoa Igarashi powered Team Japan to secure that spot, as did women's individual gold medalist Kirra Pinkerton for Team USA.
