Who Won The 2023 IBSF World Championships?
This is the 24th time since 1930 that the Swiss city has hosted at least some portion of the championships, which began as a skeleton-and-bobsled merged event in 2002. The venue, site of both St. Moritz Winter Olympics in 1928 and 1948, is both the oldest and the only naturally-refrigerated bobsled track in the world.
Competition was held across four bobsled events (women's monobob and two-woman, men's two-man and four-man) and three skeleton events (men's and women's individual and a mixed team). A para-bobsled event was also held.
As expected, Team Germany dominated the event, with nine total medals, including six gold. Team Great Britain finished second, with four overall. Congratulations to all of the 2023 world champions! Complete results can be found at ibsf.org.
