Who Won The 2023 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships?
Twelve cross-country events were contested, seven in ski jumping, and five in Nordic combined, in a variety of men's, women's, and mixed team events. In the end, Team Norway's 27 overall medals (12 gold) topped the final medal table across all the events. That total included a sweep of all the titles in both men's cross-country skiing and Nordic combined events. Norwegian stars Johannes Hoesflot Klaebo won five medals, Jarl Magnus Riiber four golds, Paal Golberg four medals, and Simen Hegsted Kuruger three gold. Other highlights included Jessie Diggins' first individual win for Team USA at a cross-country skiing worlds, and home Team Slovenia' two ski jumping world titles. The championships also saw the debut of the mixed team event of Nordic combined, with eight nations competing for debut gold.
