Who Won The 2023 FIG Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships?
Competition was held across individual all-around, ball, clubs, hoop, and ribbon, and group all-around and 5 hoops and 3 ribbon + 2 balls events.
The event also served as a Paris 2024 Olympic qualifier, offering 14 individual and five group spots. The individual allocations were won by Bulgaria, Slovenia, Spain (2x), Israel, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Germany, Hungary, Azerbaijan, France, Brazil, Italy, and Romania. These are in addition to the single spots won by Italy, Bulgaria, and Germany at the 2022 worlds. For the group event, teams China, Italy, Ukraine, Brazil, and France join Bulgaria, Israel, and Spain at Paris 2024.
âDarja Varfolomeev's sweep of the individual titles led Team Germany to the overall medal table win, pipping Team Italy by gold total. Nine national teams won at least one medal.
