Who Won The 2023 World Single Distances Speed Skating Championships?
Competition was held across eight men's and eight women's events. As ever the favorite, home team Team Netherlands dominated the overall medal table with seven golds and 17 overall. Teenager Jordan Stolz becoming the first man to win three individual titles at one championship was a remarkable event highlight, while Davide Ghiotto won Team Italy's first-ever title. Cornelius Kersten's 1000m bronze was the first medal ever for Team Great Britain. Team Norway's Ragne Wiklund was a three-time individual medalist, while Thomas Krol, Bart Swings, Irene Schouten, Antoinette Rijpma-de Jong, Jutta Leerdam, Miho Takagi, and Martina Sablikova all won two each.
