Who Won The 2023 World Table Tennis Championships?
Competition was held in five events: singles and doubles for both men and women, and mixed doubles. (Note: these championships alternate every other year with a separate team championships event.) Team China is the overall leader on the all-time medal table, with more than twice the medals - 419.5 - of second-place Team Hungary.
And...Team China raked in the medals again, sweeping all golds and taking 12 of the 20 total medals available. Three Chinese were double champions across the singles and doubles events - Fan Zhedong, Sun Yingsha, and Wang Chuqin. Sun and Wang each added a third medal (bronze and silver, respectively).
Congratulations to all the champions! A photo gallery of the winners is included below. Complete results can be found online at worldtabletennis.com.
