Who Won The 2023 World Triathlon Sprint & Relay Championships?
2023 marked the second time, after Montreal in 2022, that this scheduling format was used, holding the single-event sprint and relay championships within the overall WTCS. Teams France, Great Britain, and United States entered Hamburg as the defending relay podium medalists from 2022. The French had won the relay title five times since 2009. Alex Yee and Georgia Taylor-Brown, both from Great Britain, won the sprint titles in 2022.
This time around, Team New Zealand's Hayden Wilde and Team France's Cassandre Beaugrand took the super sprint titles, while women's super sprint bronze medalist Laura Lindemann powered Team Germany to the mixed relay title. That relay title also earned the Germans quota spots for Paris 2024: two each for the men's and women's competitions.
