Who Won The 2023 World Rowing Championships?
Entering this 51st edition of the championships, Teams Germany and United States both had 229 overall total medals in the all-time table, though East Germany led with 94 golds.
Competition was held across seven Olympic class events for both men and women: single, double, and quadruple sculls, coxless pairs and four, coxed eight, and a lightweight double scull. And, a minimum of five boats in each of these classes secured Paris 2024 qualification.
The championships held six other lightweight and nine para-rowing events.
Teams Netherlands and Great Britain shared the gold medal standings, with six each and nine medals overall, while Team Italy finished with eight overall (three gold). 20 nations earned at least one medal.
