Who Won The 2024 ISU World Allround & Sprint Speed Skating World Championships?
The combined 'Allround' and Sprint worlds are held every even-numbered year, since 2020. The retirements of Nils van der Poel, Irene Schouten, and Thomas Krol ensured new winners in the all-around events and the men's individual sprint, while Jutta Leerdam returned to defend her women's sprint title from 2022.
The sprint titles, contested over two 500 and 1000 meter races each, went to Ning Zhongyan and Miho Takagi. And the all-around titles went to Jordan Stolz and Joy Beune, after combined results from 500, 1500, 3000/5000, and 5000/10,000 races.
Congratulations to the medalists! A quick recap is below, and complete results can be found online at speedskating-events.de.
