Who Won The 2024 ILCA 6 Women's World Championship?
The event also doubled as a key qualifier to the Paris 2024 Summer Games later this year, with seven sailors not already qualified earning Games' entry: Monika Mikkola (Team Finland), Eve McMahon (Ireland), Dolores Moreira (Uruguay), Ana Mocada Sanchez (Spain), Gabriela Kidd (Brazil), Ecem Guzel (Turkey), and Elena Oetling (Mexico).
For the overall championship, two-time Olympic medalist (including Tokyo 2020 gold) Anne-Mare Rindom of Denmark took the world title with one last day of racing still left, while the remaining podium went to the last race to decide - Charlotte Rose of Team USA winning silver, and Emma Plasschaert of Team Belgium securing bronze.
