Who Won The 2024 World Men's Curling Championship?
Entering 2024, Team Canada's 36 titles and 56 overall podium finishes had them firmly the all-time medal winner, followed by Teams Scotland and Sweden with 36 and 26 overall medals, respectively. The 2023 edition was won by the Scots, skipped by Bruce Mouat, the Beijing 2022 silver medalist.
2024 came down to the Swedes - who went 11-1 in the round robin stage versus the Canadians (10-2), with skip Niklas Edin leading Team Sweden to the title in a 6-5 gold medal match for his seventh championship title overall. Team Italy took the bronze medal over defending champion Team Scotland, 7-6.
