Who Won The 2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship?
In addition to the host Team Sweden, the tournament featured 19 other national teams, from Australia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Scotland, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and United States. Team Switzerland entered this tournament as the most-titled champion, with seven of the previous 15 titles.
Teams played a round-robin format phase in two groups, before the elimination rounds began. In the end (pun intended!), Team Sweden's Isabella and Rasmus Wrana won the gold medal with a 8-4 victory over Team Estonia in the title match; this is the second title for Team Sweden (2019). Kristin Skaslien and Magnus Nedregotten won Team Norway's second-straight bronze, defeating Team Switzerland 6-5.
Congratulations to the medalists! Complete results can be found online at worldcurling.org.
