Who Won The 2024 ITTF World Team Table Tennis Championships?
In the last edition in 2022, Team China won both the men's Swaythling Cup and the women's Corillon Cup trophies to extend its streaks to 10 (men) and 14 (women) straight titles.
And...in 2024, it was Team China again in both events, extending their domination. And, star player Ma Long earned his 14th career world team gold, third-place all-time on the gold list.
Busan 2024 also served as a key Paris 2024 qualifier, with the national teams in the top eight for both men and women securing an Olympic berth: i.e., Teams Japan, South Korea, Portugal, Germany, Chinese Taipei, and Denmark for the men and Teams South Korea, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, and Romania for the women.
Congratulations to all the medalists! Complete results can be found online at worldtabletennis.com.
