Who Won the 2024 IBU World Biathlon Championships?
12 events were held, including five each for men and women (sprint, individual, pursuit, mass start and team relay), with two mixed relays. Team Norway's thirteen overall medals led the medal table in the 2023 edition in Oberhof, Germany and further cemented the Norwegians' lead in the overall historic medal table (235 total overall since 1958).
In Nové Město na Moravě, Team France took the overall medal table with six gold and 13 overall, just nipping Team Norway's 12 overall secured without any individual women's medals. Teams Italy, Sweden, Germany, and Latvia divided the remaining 13 medals in the competition. Indiviudally, Johannnes Thingnes Boe reached the podium in each of his seven events.
