Who Won The 2024 FIL Luge World Championships?
Team Germany won eight of nine golds and 16 of 27 total medals to dominate the championships last year in Oberhof. That result pushed the Germans, with 80 gold and 181 overall medals, even further atop the historical medal table. Team Austria is the only other national team to break 100 total overall medals, at 104.
The Austrians just nipped the Germans on the 2024 medal table, winning nine overall and four golds to the Germans' seven and three. Team Latvia also won seven overall, while each of their Team Mixed Relay members won an individual medal as well - the only team for that to have happened.
Congratulations to all the 2024 medalists! A recap is below, and complete results can be found online at fil-luge.org.
